We stock a large assortment of threads suitable for needlepoint, crewel,
counted thread, and a variety of other needlework techniques.

ANCHOR
We
stock a full assortment of Anchor floss, #3 & #5 Pearl Cotton (including
variegated #5 & #5 balls--perfect for Japanese Temari); #8  in
assorted shades including pinks, blues, greens, & lavenders.
APPLETON CREWEL &
TAPESTRY
We stock all 421 shades of Appleton Crewel (sold in 27 yard
skeins). Appleton Crewel is traditionally popular for both crewel
embroidery and needlepoint. Because of its fine weight, it can be
blended for wonderful effects in shading. The full color range of
Appleton Tapestry is available by Special Order (minimum order applies).
CARON COLLECTION
We
stock the full color range of Watercolours—a wonderful
hand-dyed cotton perfect for needlepoint, Japanese Temari, and counted
thread techniques. We also carry a wide assortment of solid
colors of Impressions, a beautiful 50% silk and wool
blend. Our in-stock selection of variegated Impressions will vary.
Other popular Caron Collection threads include Snow (a sparkly
polyester-- great for holiday touches), Rachel (nylon tubular thread)
and Rachelette (nylon filled with fine metallic).
PATERNAYAN PERSIAN
WOOL
We stock the full range of Paternayan Persian known the world over
as a superior quality needlepoint yarn. We sell by the 66” strand. ¼
pound hanks are available by special order if not in stock.
KREINIK
We specialize
in Kreinik Meatllics in sizes 16, 12, 8, & 4. We stock Kreinik’s most
popular colors in all sizes, but selections may vary. (Limited
assortment of 1/8” & 1/16” ribbon & Ombre)
NEEDLE NECESSITIES
We
carry an extensive assortment of over-dyed floss~~great for punch
needle, cross stitch, needlepoint and embroidery.
RAINBOW GALLERY
We
carry a large selection Neon Rays (100% rayon ribbon suitable for
needlepoint & cross stitch), Gold Rush in a variety of colors (also sold
by the spool for convenience in Japanese Temari, and a variety of other
threads including Nordic Gold (great for marking Temari), Fyre Werkes,
Wisper, and Alpaca 18. .
SILK & IVORY
This is a
50% silk & 50% Merino wool combination from Switzerland. It is most
popular for #14 and #18 count needlepoint canvas. We currently carry
the top 50 most popular colors.
BLOSSUMS
This is a
popular hand-dyed wool from Australia suitable for needlepoint and
crewel. Our assortment varies and special ordering is available.

J. L. Walsh Silk
We
stock Silk/Wool, a 5-ply 50/50 blend. It is an over-dyed thread with
subtle richness and color variation. We currently stock the 50 most
popular colors.
WEEKS DYE WORKS
We
carry the most popular colors in floss and #5 Pearl Cotton. The floss
is a perfect choice for Punch Needle projects and the #5 Pearl is a
popular choice for Huck Weaving and Temari projects.
